De Sociaal-Economische Raad (SER) wil als advies- en overlegorgaan van werkgevers, werknemers en onafhankelijke leden een bijdrage leveren aan de maatschappelijke welvaart door te komen tot onderlinge consensus over voor Curaçao belangrijke en relevante onderwerpen op sociaal-economisch terrein. Daarbij heeft de SER volop aandacht voor internationale ontwikkelingen op deze terreinen.

De SER streeft daarbij naar kwaliteit en draagvlak: hoge deskundigheid in combinatie met breed gedragen overeenstemming en steun in de samenleving.

Verder biedt de SER een platform om actuele, relevante sociaal-economische vraagstukken te bespreken.
