SER gives presentation on robotisation in the provision of information

WILLEMSTAD, 7 May 2018 –A technical delegation of the Social-Economic Council (SER) gave a presentation in the auditorium of the University of Curaçao (UoC) on the topic “Robotisation in the provision of information’ on Friday 4 May. This occurred during the Information Management Day, which is organized every year by the company of Professional Document & Information Management (ProDocit) and in which professionals in this field of provision of information documentary, both from the public sector and the private sector from all the three Caribbean countries of the Kingdom participated.

The delegation of SER Curaçao was invited because of its involvement in this topic to give a lecture by which a link was laid with the chosen theme by the International Labour Organization (ILO) for its centenary celebration in 2019, known as ‘The Future of Work and Social Dialogue’. Robotisation and digitization play a role not to be underestimated because of their enormous impact on the labor market.

During the presentation the SER delegation elaborated specifically on the advantages and challenges of robotisation for administrative processes.
