Willemstad, 20 de enero de 2025 \u2013 Estudiantes de la Universidad de Ciencias Aplicadas de La Haya, inscritos en la especializaci\u00f3n sobre Relaciones del Reino, visitaron el Consejo Econ\u00f3mico y Social (SER) el pasado 15 de enero, en un evento celebrado en el Boutique Hotel ‘t Klooster en Pietermaai. Durante la jornada, los participantes tuvieron la oportunidad de conocer de cerca el trabajo del SER, su papel en Curazao y el Reino, as\u00ed como posibles oportunidades de colaboraci\u00f3n pr\u00e1ctica a trav\u00e9s de pasant\u00edas.<\/p>\n

El evento inici\u00f3 con una presentaci\u00f3n detallada sobre las funciones principales del SER, que incluyen asesorar al gobierno y al Parlamento de Curazao en cuestiones socioecon\u00f3micas y brindar apoyo t\u00e9cnico a plataformas de di\u00e1logo como el Comit\u00e9 Central de Sindicatos (CCvV) y la Consulta Central Organizada de funcionarios P\u00fablicos (CGOA). Este encuentro permiti\u00f3 a los estudiantes adentrarse en los procesos de toma de decisiones que sostienen el desarrollo de una econom\u00eda peque\u00f1a pero estrat\u00e9gica en el marco del Reino de los Pa\u00edses Bajos.<\/p>\n

Uno de los momentos destacados fue la exposici\u00f3n sobre las oportunidades de pasant\u00edas en el SER. Los estudiantes descubrieron c\u00f3mo pueden participar activamente en las operaciones diarias del consejo, adquiriendo experiencia pr\u00e1ctica que complementa sus estudios acad\u00e9micos y refuerza su preparaci\u00f3n profesional.<\/p>\n

La jornada fue altamente interactiva, con discusiones sobre temas como la formulaci\u00f3n de pol\u00edticas, la cooperaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica y el papel del SER en el fortalecimiento de los lazos entre las distintas regiones del Reino y con socios internacionales. Estas din\u00e1micas no solo fomentaron el intercambio de ideas, sino que tambi\u00e9n subrayaron los beneficios mutuos de la colaboraci\u00f3n entre la Universidad de La Haya y el SER de Curazao.<\/p>\n

El programa concluy\u00f3 con un almuerzo informal, en el que estudiantes y representantes del SER compartieron experiencias y reflexiones en un ambiente relajado. Este espacio facilit\u00f3 el establecimiento de conexiones valiosas y un entendimiento m\u00e1s profundo de los retos y oportunidades en el panorama socioecon\u00f3mico de Curazao.<\/p>\n

Esta visita, la cuarta de una serie de intercambios anuales, pone de manifiesto la importancia del aprendizaje pr\u00e1ctico y la transferencia de conocimientos entre las diferentes partes del Reino. Iniciativas como esta buscan no solo preparar a las nuevas generaciones para futuros desaf\u00edos, sino tambi\u00e9n integrarlos activamente en los esfuerzos de desarrollo socioecon\u00f3mico de Curazao.<\/p>\n

SER\u2019en wereldwijd buigen zich over bestaande partnerschap met ILO<\/span><\/h1>

Willemstad, 2 februari 2024 - Onder voorzitterschap van de Sociaal-Economische Raad (SER) van Cura\u00e7ao vond op woensdag 31 januari jongstleden de eerste buitengewone bestuursvergadering van 2024 plaats van de internationale vereniging van sociaal-economische adviesraden en soortgelijke instellingen (AICESIS). Deze volledig digitale sessie trok vertegenwoordigers uit landen zoals Aruba, Benin, China, Ivoorkust, Frankrijk, Griekenland, Guatemala, Luxemburg, Monaco, de Democratische Republiek Congo, Roemeni\u00eb, Rusland, Senegal, Servi\u00eb, en van de Unie van Afrikaanse Sociaaleconomische Adviescolleges (UCESA), en was gericht op het evalueren van de samenwerking met de Internationale Arbeidsorganisatie (ILO).<\/p>
Deze samenwerking, die voor het eerst werd beklonken op 8 mei 2012 en vervolgens vernieuwd op 23 oktober 2018 in Gen\u00e8ve, Zwitserland, benadrukt de gedeelde ambitie om gezamenlijke expertise te benutten voor het aanpakken van urgente sociale en arbeidsuitdagingen.<\/p>
De AICESIS-ILO samenwerkingsovereenkomst, welke om de zes jaar wordt ge\u00ebvalueerd, concentreert zich op belangrijke thema's zoals ge\u00efnstitutionaliseerde sociale dialoog, tripartisme, en het stimuleren van participatieve democratie, in lijn met de VN 2030-agenda en de wereldwijde discussies over de toekomst van werk.<\/p>
De AICESIS-bestuursvergadering deze week resulteerde in unanieme goedkeuring van een cruciaal rapport, voorgesteld door het Cura\u00e7aose voorzitterschap, dat als leidraad zal dienen voor de toekomstige beoordeling en verdere ontwikkeling van de AICESIS-ILO samenwerking. Het rapport benadrukt de blijvende behoefte aan focus op het Decent Work Agenda en de institutionele versterking van de lid instellingen.<\/p>
De recente benoeming van SER Cura\u00e7ao als voorzitter van AICESIS markeert de groeiende rol van Latijns-Amerika en het Caribisch gebied op het internationale podium. De komende statutaire AICESIS-bestuursvergadering, die fysiek zal plaatsvinden in Guatemala City eind april van dit jaar, zal zich richten op het verder uitdiepen van het thema 'brede welvaart', een speerpunt van het Cura\u00e7aose voorzitterschap.<\/p><\/div>
