Human Rights Defense Cura\u00e7ao (HRDC), en cooperaci\u00f3n con el Consejo Econ\u00f3mico y Social (SER) y la Fundaci\u00f3n Panamericana para el Desarrollo (FUPAD), organiz\u00f3 una exitosa reuni\u00f3n destinada a promover un mercado laboral inclusivo. La reuni\u00f3n del 11 de junio congreg\u00f3 a representantes de varias organizaciones clave, como la Asociaci\u00f3n Empresarial de Cura\u00e7ao (VBC), Machinery and Energy BV, la Fundaci\u00f3n Kolektivo Cura\u00e7ao, Stichting Hulp aan Auditief Gehandicapten (Fundaci\u00f3n de Ayuda a los Discapacitados Auditivos), Sentro Solari, Deloitte Caribbean, Klinika Capriles, Fundashon Alton Paas y la Agencia de Promoci\u00f3n de Inversiones y Exportaciones de Cura\u00e7ao (CINEX).<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Ra\u00fal Henr\u00edquez, Director\/Secretario General de SER, inaugur\u00f3 la reuni\u00f3n virtualmente desde Ginebra, donde preside los debates en nombre de la Asociaci\u00f3n Internacional de Consejos Consultivos Socioecon\u00f3micos e Instituciones Similares (AICESIS) en la 112\u00aa Conferencia Internacional del Trabajo de la OIT. Henr\u00edquez subray\u00f3 la necesidad de pol\u00edticas y estrategias claras para un mercado laboral inclusivo. Hizo un llamado para medidas concretas para abordar la discriminaci\u00f3n en los puestos de trabajo, garantizar la igualdad de oportunidades para todos los trabajadores y aplicar medidas que promuevan la igualdad de ingresos. Subray\u00f3 que tanto los empleadores como el gobierno deber\u00edan apoyar activamente la diversidad y la inclusi\u00f3n en todos los sectores econ\u00f3micos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Raynel Martis, director de FUPAD Aruba y Cura\u00e7ao, moder\u00f3 la reuni\u00f3n y proporcion\u00f3 informaci\u00f3n sobre las iniciativas regionales y la experiencia de FUPAD destinadas a apoyar a los grupos vulnerables y a trabajar con el gobierno, las ONG y el sector comercial para incluir a los migrantes en el mercado laboral. Se refiri\u00f3 a los proyectos en curso en Colombia, Brasil, Trinidad y Tobago, Aruba y Cura\u00e7ao, entre otros pa\u00edses.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Raymond Jamanika, director de HRDC, subray\u00f3 la necesidad de un mercado laboral inclusivo mediante la mejora de la accesibilidad en el centro de la siudad y a los edificios en general para las personas con discapacidad. Defendi\u00f3 que los inmigrantes indocumentados y las personas con discapacidad tengan los mismos derechos que los dem\u00e1s. Tambi\u00e9n habl\u00f3 de la necesidad de cooperar con los inversores socialmente responsables.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Barbara Perquin, asesora principal de la SER, esboz\u00f3 la historia de los esfuerzos, comenzando con la solicitud del Primer Ministro en 2018 de una \u2018Pol\u00edtica de Poblaci\u00f3n para Curazao\u2019. Esto condujo al simposio &#8216;Migraci\u00f3n y desarrollo socioecon\u00f3mico&#8217; en mayo de 2019, dos publicaciones de SER sobre dicha tema, dos mesas redondas y otro simposio como seguimiento. Estos esfuerzos se tradujeron en una carta de asesoramiento de SER al Gobierno de Curazao en mayo de 2023 y un manifiesto para un mercado laboral inclusivo, presentado el 24 de noviembre de 2023 a diversas partes interesadas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Daniel Hodge, presidente de VBC, destac\u00f3 los retos actuales del sistema de seguridad social, especialmente el seguro general para jubilados (AOV). Abog\u00f3 para una ampliaci\u00f3n de la fuerza laboral y modernizaci\u00f3n de la legislaci\u00f3n laboral, con m\u00e1s flexibilidad para la inclusi\u00f3n de mujeres y personas con discapacidad.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Alex Rosaria, Director de Programas de HRDC, present\u00f3 las tendencias demogr\u00e1ficas en Cura\u00e7ao y abog\u00f3 por una actualizaci\u00f3n de la pol\u00edtica de poblaci\u00f3n. Sostuvo que el aumento de la edad general de jubilaci\u00f3n no es una soluci\u00f3n a largo plazo e insisti\u00f3 en la necesidad de un crecimiento demogr\u00e1fico y una evaluaci\u00f3n de los acercamientos migratorios hist\u00f3ricos.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">Los asistentes debatieron sobre los retos y las soluciones en relaci\u00f3n con la inclusi\u00f3n de las personas con discapacidad y los inmigrantes indocumentados en el mercado laboral. Se compartieron experiencias y se destac\u00f3 la importancia de contar con medios de transporte, edificios, orientaci\u00f3n laboral y formaci\u00f3n accesibles para las personas con discapacidades f\u00edsicas y mentales.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400\">La reuni\u00f3n proporcion\u00f3 una valiosa plataforma para el di\u00e1logo y la cooperaci\u00f3n entre las distintas partes interesadas, con el objetivo de promover un mercado laboral m\u00e1s inclusivo en Cura\u00e7ao. bestaande partnerschap met ILO<\/span><\/h1><div><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Willemstad, 2 februari 2024 - Onder voorzitterschap van de Sociaal-Economische Raad (SER) van Cura\u00e7ao vond op woensdag 31 januari jongstleden de eerste buitengewone bestuursvergadering van 2024 plaats van de internationale vereniging van sociaal-economische adviesraden en soortgelijke instellingen (AICESIS). Deze volledig digitale sessie trok vertegenwoordigers uit landen zoals Aruba, Benin, China, Ivoorkust, Frankrijk, Griekenland, Guatemala, Luxemburg, Monaco, de Democratische Republiek Congo, Roemeni\u00eb, Rusland, Senegal, Servi\u00eb, en van de Unie van Afrikaanse Sociaaleconomische Adviescolleges (UCESA), en was gericht op het evalueren van de samenwerking met de Internationale Arbeidsorganisatie (ILO).<\/p><p>Deze samenwerking, die voor het eerst werd beklonken op 8 mei 2012 en vervolgens vernieuwd op 23 oktober 2018 in Gen\u00e8ve, Zwitserland, benadrukt de gedeelde ambitie om gezamenlijke expertise te benutten voor het aanpakken van urgente sociale en arbeidsuitdagingen.<\/p><p>De AICESIS-ILO samenwerkingsovereenkomst, welke om de zes jaar wordt ge\u00ebvalueerd, concentreert zich op belangrijke thema's zoals ge\u00efnstitutionaliseerde sociale dialoog, tripartisme, en het stimuleren van participatieve democratie, in lijn met de VN 2030-agenda en de wereldwijde discussies over de toekomst van werk.<\/p><p>De AICESIS-bestuursvergadering deze week resulteerde in unanieme goedkeuring van een cruciaal rapport, voorgesteld door het Cura\u00e7aose voorzitterschap, dat als leidraad zal dienen voor de toekomstige beoordeling en verdere ontwikkeling van de AICESIS-ILO samenwerking. Het rapport benadrukt de blijvende behoefte aan focus op het Decent Work Agenda en de institutionele versterking van de lid instellingen.<\/p><p>De recente benoeming van SER Cura\u00e7ao als voorzitter van AICESIS markeert de groeiende rol van Latijns-Amerika en het Caribisch gebied op het internationale podium.
