global_colors_info=\u00bb{}\u00bb]<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Miniconferentie \u2019Future of Work\u2019<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<p>WILLEMSTAD, 2 april 2019 \u2013 In de aanloop naar de 108<sup>ste<\/sup> plenaire sessie van de Internationale Arbeidsorganisatie ILO, die van 10 tot en met 21 juni 2019 zal worden gehouden in Gen\u00e8ve, Zwitserland, en die in het teken zal staan van de viering van het honderdjarig bestaan van de ILO, zal op 11 mei 2019 een miniconferentie worden gehouden in de conferentiezaal van het Ministerie van Bestuur, Planning en Dienstverlening (BPD) in het World Trade Center (WTC). De miniconferentie concentreert zich rond het thema Toekomst van Werk.<\/p>\n<p>Toekomst van Werk (Future of Work) is gekozen als hoofdthema ten behoeve van de ILO centenary initiative. De initiatiefnemers van de miniconferentie zijn het Ministerie van Sociale Ontwikkeling, Arbeid en Welzijn (SOAW) en de Sociaal-Economische Raad (SER).<\/p>\n<p>In de door SOAW en de SER gehouden plenaire sessies, waaraan relevante maatschappelijke groeperingen deelnamen en waarbij nader van gedachten werd gewisseld over mondiale trends en ontwikkelingen die van invloed zijn op het werk (technologische ontwikkelingen, demografische trends, klimaatverandering), is onder meer naar voren gekomen dat voor Cura\u00e7ao met name \u201c<em>disruptive technology\u201d<\/em> (e-commerce en e-banking) van grote invloed is op de arbeidsmarkt.<\/p>\n<p>Intussen zijn vele bedrijven verdwenen of hebben het moeilijk en nieuwe starten op. Veel mensen zijn op zoek naar werk en jongeren bereiden zich voor op een onzekere arbeidsmarkt.<\/p>\n<p>Tijdens de Miniconferentie zullen de conclusies en bevindingen van de eerdere sessies de revue passeren en in panels worden bediscussieerd. De panels bestaan uit vakbondsvertegenwoordigers, vertegenwoordigers van het bedrijfsleven, human resource specialisten en economen.<\/p>\n<p>Voor meer informatie kunt u contact opnemen met: mw. mr. Om het feestje kracht bij te zetten, vroeg het internationale orgaan van vakbonden, werkgevers en overheid een onafhankelijke commissie om advies uit te brengen over de toekomst van werk<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Work for a brighter future<\/p>\n<p>Het is een zeer lezenswaardig advies geworden met de klinkende titel\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilo.org\/global\/topics\/future-of-work\/publications\/WCMS_662410\/lang--en\/index.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Work for a brighter future<\/a><\/em>. Het rapport schetst de enorme uitdagingen van de veranderende wereld van werk en komt tot tien overzichtelijke aanbevelingen. Het rapport getuigt van een gezonde dosis realisme en neemt de dynamische arbeidsmarkt met de groeiende diversiteit aan arbeidsrelaties als uitgangspunt. Niet om deze te bestrijden, maar wel om in goede banen te leiden. Het is vanuit die blik op werk logisch dat de ILO tot de aanbeveling komt om ongeacht de contractvorm, te zorgen voor minimale sociale bescherming, toegang tot sociale zekerheid en meeneembare sociale rechten.<\/p>\n<p>Werkverzekeringen<\/p>\n<p>Het rapport komt ook tot de slotsom dat werkenden middels beleid en instituties meer individueel moeten worden ondersteund in hun transities op de arbeidsmarkt. Een universeel levenslang leerrecht voor alle werkenden hoort daarbij. Verfrissend is de gedachte om werkloosheidsregelingen om te bouwen tot activerende \u2018werkverzekeringen\u2019, toegankelijk voor alle werkenden. Het lijkt op een eerder door de AWVN bepleit idee.<\/p>\n<p>Ten slotte bepleit het rapport het revitaliseren van het sociale contract als bindmiddel voor verandering en draagvlak.
