Constructive dialogue between SER and ILO<\/span><\/span><\/h1>\n

 <\/p>\n

Willemstad, 3 november 2023 \u2013 A technical meeting between official representatives of the Social Economic Council (SER) and the International Labor Organization (ILO) Caribbean took place last Friday morning. The meeting took place at the SER premises on Ansinghstraat. Present were Mr. Raul Henriquez, Director\/General Secretary of the SER, and other SER advisors, along with Mr. Lars Johansen, Deputy Director at the ILO Caribbean.\u00a0 Within the ILO organization, Mr. Johansen is the Deputy Director of the Decent Work Team and Country Office for the Caribbean. After an introductory presentation from the SER, a number of topics were central to the agenda, including International Labor Standards, pensions, migration and opportunities for cooperation.\u00a0 The consultations took shape as a platform for knowledge exchange and culminated in a joint commitment to build on opportunities for further deepening and broadening the already fruitful and effective cooperative relationship.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
