UN Secretary General calls for direct support to\u00a0 victims of lockdown measures<\/span><\/h1>\n

COVID-19 causes an unprecedented unemployment crisis, almost all employers and companies are hit by the lockdown measures. The Secretary General of the United Nations (UN) calls on immediate support for the risk workers, companies, jobs and incomes. In the\u00a0last policy letter<\/a> on the \u2018World of Work and COVID-19 which is drawn up by the International Labour Organization (ILO), will be further elaborated. In a previous news report the SER indicated that since the outbreak of the pandemic the ILO has been publishing \u2018Policy Brief\u2019 regularly, in which interesting topics are being addressed on the world of work during the COVID-19 period and that these policy visions will also from now on be posted on the website of the SER.
